99min half training, Week 4: I love running!

Week 4 of the 99min half training program has come to an end, and I can confidently say that I love running now more than ever. This week was filled with challenging workouts, but the feeling of accomplishment after completing each one was incredibly rewarding.

One of the highlights of this week was the long run on Sunday. I woke up early, laced up my shoes, and hit the pavement for an 80-minute run. The weather was perfect, the sun was shining, and I felt strong and confident as I tackled each mile. It was during this run that I truly fell in love with the sport of running. The feeling of freedom and empowerment that comes with each step is indescribable.

Throughout the week, I also completed various speed workouts and tempo runs that pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me build my endurance and speed. These workouts were tough, but I could feel myself getting stronger with each session. I pushed through the discomfort and fatigue, knowing that it would all be worth it in the end.

One of the biggest takeaways from this week was the importance of consistency and dedication. Running is not always easy, but by staying committed to my training plan and pushing myself to reach new goals, I have seen significant improvements in both my physical fitness and mental well-being.

As I reflect on Week 4 of the 99min half training program, I am filled with a sense of pride and accomplishment. I have learned to love the process of running, the way it challenges me both physically and mentally, and the sense of community that comes with being a part of the running world.

Moving forward, I am excited to continue my training and see how much more I can achieve. I am grateful for the opportunity to lace up my shoes and hit the pavement each day, and I am truly grateful for the love and passion that running has brought into my life. Here’s to many more miles, challenges, and triumphs on this incredible journey of running.
